I was born and raised in Nesconset
Long Island. I worked for the Port Jefferson Steam Boat Company
before moving to Florida in January of 1983. I ran the concessions
stands ( snack bar/ bar) and booked bands for the moonlight sails
for over 500 people.
Once in Florida I got a job with the Pasco County Sheriffs
Department in
September of 1984 as a Detention Deputy, now I am a Sergeant. I
joined the Fraternal Order of Police and soon became Chaplain for
the lodge. I then became the Chairperson for the Entertainment,
Legislation, membership, retirement and insurance committee's.
Over the years I
have always wanted to be a clown but because of my work schedules,
and time restrictions, I was unable to pursue it. Three years ago
I was offered an opportunity to pursue my dream and I took it.

I joined Clown
Towners through the help
of Commissioner Pat
Mulieri and met some great people who
have in return become
great friends. I went through 2 Clown
schools, one with Clown Towners, and the other with North
Bay.
Clowning has been a greatly rewarding experience for me.
I get real pleasure seeing how much of a difference we all
make. Whether it be on hospital rounds or simple functions
where there are children.

Soon I will be moving to Arizona
where I have already making contacts to continue clowning
thru the Shriners/ Masons. Hopefully I will be able to find
another great Alley close to where I will be living.

I want to
close with a big thanks you to all my fellow Clowns, and
to those
who have patiently helped me to become better at Clowning.
Without their
help and support it would not have been fun.
Thank You SugaBell, Minnesota, Sunny Side Up and Emmy.
A big Special thanks to Bonzo, my mentor.
Who really goes out of her way to inspire all of us.
without her help with costumes I would be a naked Clown.
( not a pretty site) Again Thank You All.
